Blog Or Browse: Daily Dose of Blogging and Browsing Tips

How do you use Internet? For what purposes do you use Internet? I am sure your reply will be one or many of the following

  • For reading the latest news
  • To check the prices of various articles
  • To search for articles related to a particular topic
  • To get an answer for your queries

If this is all what you use internet for, either I am quite outdated person or I am underestimating my readers. But I am doing neither. But this was the state some years back. Internet was only meant for doing the above. That is what we call the Web 1.0. So now if you ever come across the word Web 1.0, don’t think it is some complex word. But rather take it as a word corresponds to the first version of Web, like the first edition of a book. In short Web 1.0 was only about browsing and nothing else. You were only allowed to browse and you hear a lot of tips related to browsing.

But now we live in a period where the web is often referred as Web 2.0. You can think of Web 2.0 as the second version of internet. What the first verison of Web did not allow you, the second version allowed. In Web 1.0, the internet users were mere spectators or consumers. They browsed the internet for various articles and topics. But they were far from creating any articles. None of the web sites allowed users to create any content on their sites. But Web 2.0 brought a dramatic change to the world of internet. Now anybody can create articles and post them on the websites. The internet users are not only consumers of the content but also the creator of powerful and interesting content. The first step in this regard was the blogging. Blog is usually the short form of WeB Log. Blogging is usually seen as an internet diary of the users. Now we have something called microblgging, where users talk about their lives in as less number of characters as possible.

BlogOrBrowse is my attempt to bring to you the daily dose of Blogging and Browsing Tips. No matter how you use internet, you will find an article matching your taste.
